Yes, Scottlc! Sorrento IS in Victoria! :) Its a BEAUTIFUL spot where many a romance blossoms! And this sweet song is so PERFECT! Whenever I hear it I get such a heart-tug! It always brings back sweet sweet luscious memories of a place & time one mild warm summer when my heart was dipped in pure Bliss! -So I totally relate to it! .."I remember how it all came true! It WAS all so tender ...I was lost with you by the sweet Sorrento Moon!!".. AH SUCH MEMORIES ...And SUCH a song!! ThankU Tina.

PS There are 23million in Taiwan and it's half the size of Tasmania. Great people and terrific food. Tina do a Sorento Moon version in Taiwanese, a language known by all locals, yet banned for 38 years when martial law was in force from 1947. The locals would go crazy if you sang it in Taiwanese, a sure hit.

The Spanish version is also very good. May I suggest for the future an east Asian version. Japanese probably the easiest. Mandarin and Taiwanese worth considering. It might just work. In any case, Tina would be treated like royalty here.

One of her best. The song reminds me of Italy but the beach looks Aussie. Think its Sorrento in Victoria or Perth though the chorus is singing in Italian "La luna di Sorrento" which means Sorrento Moon. Work that out!
